United provides entry level on-the-job-training, participates in apprenticeship programs and sponsors employees through the certification and ticketing process. Positions are available for welders with Certification, Journeyman, Apprentice and Entry Level.

Certified Journeyman

Fitting, Millwright experience, and the ability to work with stainless steel would be considered an asset.
CNC Plasma cutting knowledge an asset

Journeyman & Apprentices

Wanting to advance their career through attainment of certification

Entry Level, shop and Welders helpers

No experience but willing to learn. For the right candidate demonstrating an interest in the welding trade, sponsorship in an apprenticeship program is possible.

All Candidates should be self motivated and able to work independently. They should be organized and able to multi-task and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Compliance with company drug and alcohol policies is a requirement.
